Roger Nelson as St. Patrick

Meet the real St. Patrick, born about 390 A.D. Patrick quotes Scripture over 200 times in his Confession as he shares his joys and trials as a frontier missionary to Ireland. Patrick will teach you the importance of:

The Confession of St. Patrick is an exciting testimony, presented in an exhilarating way to bring the Gospel message to this last frontier of his day which we now call Ireland.

"I heartily recommend Roger Nelson and his excellent presentation of The Confession. I think both Catholics and Protestants and those outside the churches can learn a great deal of history in this exciting format".
The late Kenneth Taylor, Translator, The Living Bible, Tyndale House

"Excellent presentation!"
Fr. Thomas O'Grady, Columban Fathers, Ireland

The year is 450 A.D. in a forest of Ireland, and St. Patrick is addressing you, his brethren, kinsmen, fellow servants, monks and virgins of Christ, pious women, the clergy, and even his critics from Briton. Patrick has called for this gathering as an occasion to celebrate God's faithfulness to him and his work in Ireland, and to silence his critics!

Patrick wants us to understand that his heart's desire is to offer praise and thanksgiving to God and to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Irish in those parts "beyond which there lives nobody".

"Probably no document beyond the Bible, written in the early centuries, so breathes the authentic power of the Christian Gospel to humble and transform.  Nelson brings it to life brilliantly."
Dr. Ralph Winter, Founder, U.S. Center for World Mission, Pasadena, CA

"I highly recommend Roger Nelson's performance of The Confession of St. Patrick for any audience. Roger is a consummate professional, and his portrayal of St. Patrick is outstanding."
Ms. Pam Zelek, Producer - Total Living Network, Aurora, IL

Roger Nelson as St. Patrick

Written about 450 AD, The Confession of St. Patrick is the first known document written in Ireland. Patrick did not write it as an autobiography but rather as an expression of his gratitude for God's faithfulness to him as a frontier missionary in the heart of Ireland. Although without formal education as a youth, he quotes Scripture over 200 times in his Confession. Raised in the early Celtic church in Britain, Patrick was not Irish, not born on March 17th, and did not chase the snakes out of Ireland!

Roger Nelson's portrayal of The Confession of St. Patrick was chosen to open before the debut concert of John Michael Talbot's 1992 Master Musician tour!

"Roger Nelson portrayed beautifully Patrick's zeal for the Gospel of Christ and his affection for the people to whom he proclaimed that good news. I would recommend Roger's portrayal as an effective vehicle for ecumenical fellowship and for anyone who would like to have a deeper understanding of this most beloved saint."
Fr. Daniel J. Condon - Pastor,
St. Patrick's Church, Mt. Morris, NY

"Roger Nelson brings St. Patrick to life with joy and passion.  It is great theatre, like Christian Shakespeare, giving the audience an experience they will remember the rest of their lives."
The late Dave Geisler - Writer, Focus on the Family, Decision, and New Man magazines
